Company Background

The following is a quick intro and insight into my company, my business philosophy and my actual experience. As the owner of Eastern Installation Services, I’m working very hard to change the way contract office furniture sales companies view installation companies. I’m also trying to do the same with how the installers view their owners. In both cases we strive to create a partnership that has ONE GOAL; to exceed the expectations of the end user. I have built my company on integrity and an ideology of treating my techs like I treat your clients, your sales staff and your project managers. In some cases, I treat them much better. I cook out for my guys every Friday (I haven’t poisoned one yet) as well as assisting them financially in their personal lives. All of this has almost eliminated turn over and created a very positive environment.

Prior to owning my current company, I managed $50 to $65 million a year in sales and assets for NASCAR for 10 years. I bring 30 years of major operational experience to the contract furniture installation business. Learning how to manage the guest experience for 300,000+ fans, goes a long way when trying to deliver a positive experience for 1 client while installing 50 workstations and 25 private offices. I use my past experiences to assist those in my company stay organized and understand that everything we do has to be done in a manor that is respectful of everyone that we come in contact with.  

Though I’ve only been in my current business for 7 years, we have grown to an operation that has (3) 26ft box trucks, a 20ft van, (2) 10,000 SF warehouses and an extremely dedicated workforce. Either of our 10,000 SF warehouses allows us to be extremely flexible with your install dates as well as project delays that constantly arise.

Our philosophy in project management is a little different than the others in the industry. Instead of sending 5 techs to a project for 3 days, we will send 10 techs and get the project done in 1 long day. We never commit to more than 3 projects in one day. This allows us to drill down on the details of each project and deliver the install experience that your clients deserve. We are extremely small when compared to the big players in the industry which allows us to be more personable and detailed. 

There are plenty of very good installation companies out there. Anyone that states that they are so much better than anyone else is not very honest.

I know quite a few installation companies that are very good at what they do. We strive to be in that top tier and work to achieve that on a daily basis. We never forget what got us to this point and we will never grow larger than what we are today.

We are proud that we recycle tons of cardboard every year with Georgetown Paper in Rockville MD.

We view our relationships with the sales companies that utilize us as partnerships and not as 2 separate entities.
